Words and Tricks is published quarterly, but we accept submissions year-round. New issues are published in March (Spring), June (Summer), September (Fall), and December (Winter). Submissions received during the publication of one journal will be considered for the next publication. Deadlines for each issue will be posted on the Home page.

We accept submissions of Poetry, Prose, Essays, Photography, Videos, Art, etc. If you can create it, we can (probably) publish it.

Please e-mail submissions to submissions@wordsandtricks.net. If you are submitting works in more than one format, please send more than one e-mail. For example, if you are submitting both poetry and photography, please send each separately. Paste the following form into a Word document, add your work, and attach in a .doc file. When submitting multiple poems, essays, etc., repeat the Title and Body for each piece. Please specify the format of your work clear by including it in the subject of your e-mail, e.g. "Poetry Submission," "Non-fiction Submission," etc.
